Welcome. from Tyrrell Rodgers, President - St. Louis Chapter

Welcome to the official website of the St. Louis Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA). On behalf of the Executive Board of Directors, I’d like to welcome you to our chapter’s website. The National Association of Black Accountants was founded in 1969 and serves as the premier accounting and finance organization for African Americans. The motto of NABA, “Lifting As We Climb”, is exemplified best in our great mission. The mission of NABA is to address the professional needs of its members by providing avenues for member growth, development, and professional advancement in the accounting, finance and general management professions.

NABA St. Louis has served the St. Louis Metropolitan community for many years. We have progressed as one of the premier organizations in the midwest and are committed to strengthening our professional membership, enriching the skills of our membership through professional development, teaching our communities about the importance of financial education, providing networking opportunities and mentoring our students to be our future NABA leaders.

Through partnerships with corporate and community sponsors and the dedication of our members, we are able to provide dynamic networking opportunities at our special events, monthly meetings, and exciting social gatherings. Our chapter calendar is designed to provide our stakeholders with an invaluable experience.

It is through the crystallization of the vision of the Executive Board of Directors that our members obtain timely and relevant training that transforms them into informed and connected professionals in the St. Louis area. In addition, active membership in NABA provides our members with a robust support system to provide assistance in reaching personal and professional goals and guidance through a turbulent economic environment.

I would like to personally invite you to get involved and enjoy the benefits of membership. Imagine the experience you can have from attending a meeting or the insight you can gain while volunteering on a committee. Consider this as your invitation to gain leadership development while serving your profession and community. Thank you for time and I look forward to meeting you at our next event!
